Professional Housing Provider® Designation
What is a Professional Housing Provider?
A Professional Housing Provider is a real estate investor and member of the Real Estate Association of Puget Sound (REAPS) who has agreed to abide by a code of ethics and has completed a 60-hour set of courses meeting strict guidelines and split between core and elective curricula.
A Professional Housing Provider also commits to ongoing professional education to maintain the designation.
You become a better investor and those around you will have confidence that they are dealing with a professional real estate investor – someone who has taken the time and is making the effort to be better-informed and better-equipped to handle a wide variety of solutions.
A Professional Housing Provider has permission to use the Professional Housing Provider logo in their marketing and advertising, including flyers and business cards.
How do I start?
First, each Professional Housing Provider Candidate must agree to abide by the REAPS Code of Ethics (Click Here to Download PDF).
Next, each Professional Housing Provider Candidate must complete 60 clock hours in approved courses. There are 42 hours of core courses that every Professional Housing Provider Candidate must complete and 18 hours of elective courses.
